For competition organisers
Run the competition.
We will run the bracket.
Pairings, standings, progression and disputes — handled by the engine instead of by a spreadsheet and a group chat.
Create the event yourself on Competios, or email us if you want a hand with the first night. Participants register on the public event page after you publish.
A commercial board-game venue is €9/month or €99/year for unlimited supported events with up to 100 participants in each event. Enquiries are open now; paid subscriptions begin only after the production dress rehearsal and written-order, legal and support readiness checks pass.
A sample bracket, not a live one. It is the shape a competition’s public page takes: every fixture, every result, and a bye that was recorded rather than invented.
Four shapes, one engine
Which one are you running?
The first three use the same model underneath — competition, stage, contest, enrolment, standings. Only the pace and the room change. The fourth is the one we are building next, and it is marked as such.

A season
Leagues and multi-day cups. One round-robin runs end to end today, with a table that recalculates itself; seasons across weeks are what we are building next.
How a season runs →
One night
A club night, a pub league, a school tournament. The bracket pairs itself, you type in results, and somebody is champion by closing time.
How a night runs →
Online
Players who never meet in a room. The organiser records each result and the bracket advances itself the moment the last one lands.
How online runs →
Inside your game
In developmentTournaments and leaderboards run by Competios inside your own game. Nothing of this is built yet — we are designing it with one studio first, in the open.
What we are building →A season
Weeks of fixtures. One table that is always right.
This is where a competition stops being an evening and becomes a commitment — and where a spreadsheet finally breaks. What runs today is one round-robin, end to end.
Seasons spanning weeks, promotion, home-and-away fixtures and playoff qualification are in development. No season entity exists in the product today.

A sample table. Standings are computed from completed results, in the shape the public page renders.
One night
Done by closing time.
Nobody wants to run a tournament off a group chat and a napkin. Tell us who is playing, the bracket pairs itself, and the sheet keeps score from there.
Each of those steps is an authenticated API call today — there is no organiser screen yet, which is why we run the first one alongside you.

Online
Players who never meet in a room.
Set a match time once, record what happened, and let the bracket advance itself. Everybody reads the same page afterwards.
Match times are stored precisely, but the public page currently shows one clock to every visitor: there is no per-viewer time-zone conversion yet.

Live-game companion
The tournament lives here. The live game can live on GameBoard.live.
Competios owns entrants, fixtures, progression, adjudication and standings. When one contest needs a live score, clock or spectator screen, GameBoard.live is the natural companion.
The two products do not exchange results automatically today. We are showing the product boundary and direction, not claiming an integration that has not shipped.

Already true
Four things the engine does that a spreadsheet cannot.
None of these are roadmap items. They are in the shipped organiser loop today, and they are the reason a competition survives contact with a real evening.
Results are immutable, and corrections are recorded acts
A wrong result is not edited away. It is voided, replayed or forfeited — an adjudication with a reason attached, kept beside the original. A mistake is fixable and stays visible.
Retries are idempotency-key safe
Every organiser write carries an idempotency key, so a phone that loses signal halfway through submitting a score cannot double-record it.
Concurrent organiser writes are version-fenced
Every write states the version it expected. Two co-organisers working at once cannot silently overwrite each other — the stale write is rejected rather than quietly winning.
The public page needs no account
Fixtures, standings, entrants and the champion open on a link anyone can follow. No app, no sign-up, no login wall for the people who only want to know who won.
Where we actually are
One pilot, run in the open.
The offline organiser loop is built, tested and in production: enrolment, pairing, results, standings and adjudication. What it does not have yet is a screen — the pilot runs through the API with us beside the organiser.
The Chess Raiders Creators Cup is the series we are building next, and we are building it in public. It is not running yet, it is not taking applications yet, and this page will not say otherwise until it is.

Why anybody bothers
Somebody has to win. That is the whole point.

Pricing
One low subscription for every weekly event.
A board-game store, café or venue pays €9/month or €99/year, then runs unlimited supported events with up to 100 participants in each one. Qualifying schools, nonprofits and genuine hobby groups keep a bounded free path. Spectators never pay to read the public result.
This is a founding subscription policy, not automated billing. Enquiries are open; paid subscriptions begin only after the production dress rehearsal and written-order, legal and support readiness checks pass. Until checkout exists, access and invoices are handled with a person.
