Can I set up a competition myself?
Yes. Use Create competition to open `/events/new`, name the event, add a tournament and set the entry offer, then publish when you are ready. Participants register on the public event page. Email us if you want a hand with the first night.
What can Competios actually run today?
One competition, in one of four formats: a fixed knockout, a knockout with honest byes, a complete round-robin, or preferans over nine deals. Enrolment, fixture generation, result entry, standings, adjudication and the public page are all shipped and tested.
Do players need an account?
Not to read anything. Fixtures, standings, entrants and the champion are on a public link with no login wall. The organiser routes are authenticated, because they change the record.
Is there an API?
Yes — the organiser side is an authenticated HTTP API with idempotency keys and optimistic-concurrency version fencing, and it is how the pilot actually runs. There is no organiser dashboard on top of it yet, and no public integration surface for game studios.
Can I run a league that lasts a season?
You can run one complete round-robin today, with a points table that recalculates itself. Seasons that span weeks, promotion, home-and-away fixtures and playoff qualification are in development — no season entity exists in the product yet.
Can I put tournaments inside my own game?
Not yet. We are building that path with one studio first rather than publishing an SDK nobody has used. If you are a studio and that sounds like you, the direct email link is the way in.
What happens if a result is wrong?
It is corrected, not overwritten. Void, replay or forfeit is a recorded adjudication with a reason attached, kept beside the original result — so the table becomes right without the history becoming a fiction.
What does it cost?
A qualifying non-commercial Community organiser has a bounded €0 path. A commercial board-game store, café or venue is €9/month or €99/year for unlimited supported events with up to 100 participants in each event. Accepted one-time events above 100 use published bands from €99 to €999 per event and do not require a Venue subscription. Paid-participation fees are adopted future policy because registration and payment are not built yet. Enquiries are open now; paid founding subscriptions and manual invoices begin only after the readiness gate passes. There is no online checkout yet.
What is the Chess Raiders Creators Cup?
A creator competition series we are building on Competios, in public. It is not running yet and is not taking applications yet — when it is, this answer changes.

Use the direct email link on any page. It opens your normal email app and goes to the person building the product.
